Why a Paid Site, You Arrogant But Devilishly Handsome Bastard?

I am sure a lot of people will be wondering why I would bother to have a pay site.  I do realize that could be interpreted as lofty and ambitious at best and greedy and egotistical at worst.  (God, I hope that’s the worst)  The reason is actually very simple: websites cost money to operate and this seemed the best way to go about making certain that the site can always be there and its expenses always met without threat of closing down.  This is not an attempt to shut anyone out or be uppity. I have watched my ex-EOS boss, Katrina, struggle with the monthly site expenses for years and honestly, I don’t think my nerves could stand it.  This way, I know the expenses are met and I am free to focus exclusively on writing for you. 

I will be giving this site my focused attention and I look forward to sharing this time with you.  The site has been going strong since 2006 and I am very proud of what it has become.  I hope you will decide to join me here on a regular basis, whether it is on a paid or unpaid basis.
