Sage’s Dish – AMC, OLTL & GH

As you can see, there’s not much news that I could dig up, but I filled in the blanks with some interesting video clips.

AMC

A new broom sweeps clean and although plans have been tentatively made for who is and is not going to remain with the show through the next month or so of transition, a new Head Writer will likely shake things up a bit. It has already started with Jill Larson being brought back into the fold after having been unceremoniously dumped. With several familiar faces returning for the 40th anniversary shows, don’t be surprised if you see even more reversals, returns and abrupt dismissals with the new regime. Of course the alternative is possible: more of the same.

What “the same” will not include, as I have mentioned before, is Kendall and Zach. A last air date has been released for Thorsten Kaye of December 29th, which was, as you are likely aware, yesterday, so he is all kinds of gone. A bit of Kendall will air in the future with Alicia Minshew canning a few scenes following her maternity leave, but overall, the couple’s decision to take their kids and leave Pine Valley “to heal” is a done deal.

OLTL

Good info to have when you watch Mark Lawson play Brody on the show. The boy is free-ballin’, commando, stick in the wind. He recently confided to Good Day LA that he does not wear underwear.

So all of the OLTL info I have is that hot shower guy doesn’t wear underwear. It’s a sad, sad day in Sage Land, I tell you.

Being her usual self, Nancy Lee Grahn recently twittered or tweeted or whatever it is that James Franco (Franco) was a “pretentious douchebag.” She later deleted the post and when she was called on it said, “I just thought we’d have some fun for an hour and then remove the evidence.”

Rumors continue that the Ward family will come back into focus again with Faith Ward (?!) as a prominent character.

Not much here either. Things are quiet and still before the rush of New Things with the New Year. What can we dig up for GH, I wonder??
