Time to roll!
Can’t believe another week has come and gone! There’s not a lot of news, but there’s a bit of good news here and there, so I guess a little bit of good news is better than lots and lots of bad news!
Brian Frons either has his head buried in the sand (or his own butt) to the bottom of his grandpa beard or else he’s the most optimistic guy on the planet. When recently questioned about his feelings on the demise of soaps as indicated by the rampant canceling of shows right and left, the President of ABC Daytime shrugged it off saying that he doesn’t understand the belief that the genre is dying based on a few cancellations. As he put it (paraphrased), if a sitcom dies, you don’t think the entire genre is doomed. If a drama dies, you don’t think the entire genre is doomed. Makes sense, but still, c’mon dude.
As you can see, there’s not much news that I could dig up, but I filled in the blanks with some interesting video clips.

Time for Dish and there’s a good bit of it for a change, so let’s start talkin! First, remember that there are repeats of AMC and OLTL for Thursday with no GH airing. No soaps at all air on ABC on Friday. Good news, bad news. Good news is that now FULL EPISODES of OLTL and AMC are now available to watch in streaming video (a download plug in is required for most) on www.abc.com. Bad news is that while it says they are available after 4pm the day of airing, that seems to be more of a guideline than a solid policy.
